Science Club is actively functioning in the college with a view to encourage group activities of students, to keep the students in touch with the recent advances in science and to provide challenging opportunities to the gifted.
Science club was formally inaugurated by Prof. Roy K.B.(Assistant Professor Department of Chemistry, SNGS College Pattambi) on 03.02.2020 10.30 am at the seminar hall. The programme started with the welcome address of Dr.Dhanya T P (Co-Ordinator Science club). Dr.Sajeev K. (Principal NSS college Ottapalam) presided the function. Dr.Pramod Kumar (Assistant professor Dept Of Botany), Mr Muhammed Shafeeq (college union chair man ) delivered felicitation. Ms. Chitra (Secretary -Science club) gave vote of thanks.
Technical session was handled by Prof Roy K.B. on the topic“Role of Gender and Race in the Development of Science”
Students from all science department attended the lecture.

A Science exhibition was organized by the science club including all Science Departments of NSS College Ottapalam. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Balachandran S.(Principal, NSS College Ottapalam). Welome address by Dr.Dhanya T.P.(Coordinator Science Club) felicitation by Prof.Manju B L(IQAC Coordinator) and Ms.Vismaya K.P.(College Union Chairperson) and vote of thanks by Mr Sreenath (Science Club Secretary).
Programme includes poster presentation, puzzles, experiment demonstration, models and power point presentation .Students from all departments and High school students from nearby school attended the exhibition.
