GREEN AUDIT 2018-19

Green auditing is a objective-specified systematic and periodic documentation and review of facility operations and practices related to meeting environmental requirements. The periodic review can help in assessing the change over time. The whole process of green auditing focusses on the efficient use of energy and water, minimizing waste generation or pollution, encourage and enhance energy use conservation, reduce the institute’s energy and water consumption and also economic efficiency.
Green audit of our college was initiated in the academic year 2017-18. The review of the whole process for this year 2018-19 was done by the Water auditing, Energy auditing, Waste auditing – Solid wastes, e-wastes, Air auditing and Biodiversity and Environmental Quality Auditing
The methodology adopted included Preparation of questionnaire, Physical inspection of the campus,  Interviewing key persons and data analysis, Review of the previous year’s documentation and recommendations.
